Jamil and Askvik edits Special Issue

Ishtiaq Jamil and Steinar Askvik are editors of a special issue of International Journal of Public Administration. The issue called "Institutional trust in developing and transitional countries" has a focus on trust in public institutions, and the issue shows the various conditions for trust in public institutions in a selection of developing and transitioning countries.

Jamil and Askvik have edited a special issue of the International Journal of Public Administration. The issue consists of five articles, of which four are quantitatively oriented and one is qualitatively oriented. The quantitatively oriented articles maps trust in public institutions in countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, and compares trust within and between the countries in question. The qualitatively oriented article shows how neo-institutional economic reform has not increased trust in public institutions in Mexico.
