The Arqus Rector's Council welcomes two new members
At the last rector's council meeting the University of Minho (Portugal) and the University of Wroclaw (Poland) were announced as new members of the Alliance.
Why these two universities?
The University of Minho is highly committed to internationalisation and is very focused on the socio-economic eco-system, engaged with the region and committed to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The University of Wroclaw is also a highly internationalised university, with strong links with other universities in Europe and specifically within their region. In addition, it has a strong commitment to academic freedom and core democratic values of Europe.
With the University of Minho and the University of Wroclaw the Alliance covers a large area of European geography.
A new era can begin because of new Arqus students, academics, administrative and technical staff.
