Celebration of 25 years of Intercontinental University Collaboration between Makerere University, Uganda and the University of Bergen, Norway.

The event took place in the Main Hall at Makerere University 21. February from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.

There were numerous project presentations and entertainment by Dep. of Performing Arts and Film for the staff, students and Alumni's that were present. Vigdis Vandvik was one of the speakers under the presentation of the Matrix project. Andreas L. Steigen introduced the audience to the start of the making of the Frame

Agreement between the two universities together withUiB honorary doctor Professor Livingstone Luboobi. It was an interesting and historic event where around 180 alumni students participated together with people from the administration, personnel and economy, who were trained in Bergen.

We were about 250 persons present that had been involved in this cooperation over the last 25 years. Our Rector and the VC at MU enjoyed themselves! The cooperation has been coordinated by prof Thorkild Tylleskär (CIH) and Thelma Kraft (BIO) from UiB.
