Jon Vidar Helvik from the Marine Developmental Biology research group at BIO writes to tell us about an unexpected experience he had with a MAR350 lab-course. The students were looking at early development in zebra fish under the microscope. They used their own cell phones to take pictures through the microscope oculars and the results are not bad.
