The new Ph.D.-regulations at the Faculty of Medicine

Torunn Olsnes, advisor at the Faculty of Medicine will visit us and talk about the new rules and regulations pertaining to the degree PhD at the Faculty of Medicine.

The University of Bergen has adopted a new PhD-regulation in November 2018, and the PhD-program at the Faculty of Medicine was accordingly also revamped and modernized. Torunn will explain the most important changes and how they affect YOU as PhD-candidates or supervisors.

There will be pizza after the seminar, and the opportunity to ask questions.

EARLY STAGE RESEARCHER SEMINARS

A monthly meeting platform for PhD students and post docs, where one student will present his/her work, followed by light discussions over lunch (informal, does not qualify for credit points towards the PhD degree).

All early stage researchers at the Department of Biomedicine are invited: PhD-candidates, master students, post docs and researchers. There is no registration. There will be pizza for lunch after the seminar.
