Opening Sympsium, Center of Excellence CCBIO

Centre for Cancer Biomarkers (CCBIO) is one of two new Norwegian Centres of Excellence at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Bergen. The centre will work on cancer biomarkers and tailored treatment and will especially focus on tumor-microenvironment interactions and their importance for metastatic spread and aggressive disease.

We have the pleasure of inviting you to CCBIOs Opening Symposium on May 30-31, 2013. The symposium will focus both on the centre and its research focus and goals as well as include talks by several high level international researchers such as Bruce Zetter from Harvard Medical School, Mina Bissell from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and John Cairns from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. The symposium is open for all and please feel free to circulate this invitation. There is no registration fee and we will serve tapas for lunch.
