PhD Candidate Ying Chen

MD, pathologist, currently head of department and chief consultant at the Department of Pathology, Oslo University Hospital. She has since 2015 been a part-time PhD student in the Akslen group. Her PhD project focuses on breast cancer stroma and aims to identify the interplay between tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, vascular invasion and stromal elastosis.
