Postdoc Harsh Dongre

MTech in bio-nanotechnology from India and was from 2017 to 2020 a PhD candidate in the Costea group. His research project focused on the role of miRNAs in tumor-stroma interaction in squamous cell carcinomas with special emphasis on targeting altered miRNAs and proteins using functionalized nano-diamonds.

Harsh Nitin Dongre completed his PhD April 30, 2020. Dissertation title: "Biomarkers and preclinical models for more precise diagnosis and personalized treatment of oral and vulva carcinomas - Study on human samples and experimental models." Supervisors were Professor Daniela Elena Costea, Professor Line Bjørge and Professor Anne Christine Johannessen. See press release.

From November 2020, Harsh continued in a Postdoc position in the Costea group, working on differential mechanisms of tumor-stroma interactions in human papilloma virus (HPV) positive and HPV negative carcinomas.
