2016 - Cornelia Schuster

Born 1979 in Germany, holds an M.D. and a German Medical Doctor degree, both from Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. Since 2011 and until November 2016, she has been a PhD candidate in the Straume and Akslen groups. Her research is focused on finding predictive biomarkers for treatment of metastatic melanoma.

Cornelia Schuster defended Tuesday 22 November 2016 her dissertation "Investigation of predictive markers in patients with metastatic melanoma treated with bevacizumab" at the University of Bergen. Main supervisor was Oddbjørn Straume, and co-supervisor was Lars A. Akslen. See press release.
