Bereavement course

The bereavement course is a part time study running over two years.

Main content

The aim of this course is to give a better understanding of the bereavement process, including consequences of bereavement, and how it affects those who have experienced loss. The course offers theoretical knowledge of common, as well as complicated grief, and will supply evidence- and experience based understanding of intervention and treatment. The lecturers have  long clinical and research experience and after completing the course, the students will be better equipped to offer support and understanding to persons, families and local societies experiencing bereavement. (15 ECTS credits)
