Post-Traumatic Stress and Postraumatic Growth After Undergoing Cancer Treatment As A Young Adult

Young cancer survivors are in a vulnerable phase in their lives with many changes. Receiving a cancer diagnosis and undergoing cancer treatment is very stressful. Previous research has documented how younger cancer survivors struggle with many physical and psychosocial effects after cancer diagnosis and treatment. However, we have very little knowledge of the positives and negatives of undergoing cancer treatment and the consequences this experience creates during this time in a young person’s life.
