How can we understand and assess crisis and disaster reactions in people who have experienced traumatic events? What measures can we take to best safeguard survivors and survivors? New part-time study at the Center for Crisis Psychology started this fall.

This new part-time study PSYK643 Crisis and disaster psychology will provide increased competence in recognizing and assessing crisis, grief and disaster responses in children and adults and how biological, emotional and cognitive mechanisms influence responses and adaptation in the short and long term. Through the study you will gain in-depth knowledge of the importance of early intervention and how we can organize and organize psychosocial measures for survivors and inpatients.
