Ida Andersson is a senior lecturer in Human Geography at Örebro University, Sweden.

In her research Ida focuses on the interlinkages between economic geography and spatial planning, and how this ties to policy development, strategic planning and the built environment. Ida is currently doing research on the development of the Swedish wood housing industry and its relation to environmental policy. Her previous research can be found in journals such as Urban Studies, Environment and Planning C, European Planning Studies, Journal of Social and Economic Geography and Norwegian Journal of Geography.
