Graduates from the programme are qualified for employment in a range of professional positions, including applied research, management and project development. They often plan to pursue a career in Public Health, NGOs, the health sector or in academia.

Students who register in the programme typically come from education backgrounds such as medicine, nursing, dentistry, biology and the social sciences.

The programme requires 4 semesters of full-time study to complete. There are mandatory and elective courses. The final year involves a research project and thesis report.
