- While extensive rennovations are undertaken at Overlege Danielsens House, CIH moved temporarily moved to Jekteviksbakken 31, June 2017. At Jekteviksbakken we are having the opportunity to mingle and network with researchers at Christian Michelsens Institute, and our building closer bonds with people working with the Global Challenges priority area.
- In 2017, CIH merged the administrative unit “UiB Global”. This is part of the evolving UiB strategy for 3 priority areas, one of which is Global Challenges. It is hoped that this will facilitate more inter-Faculty research initiatives.
- CIH’s new Master programme in Global Health started in 2017.
In addition, CIH researchers, PhD candidates, staff and students continue to work hard. Read about research results, education initiatives and more in the 2017 Annual Report. Printed copies are available at CIH.
