Welcome to Department of Clinical Science
Department of Clinical Science aims to conduct research, guidance and teaching at a high international level in order to achieve the Faculty's vision "new knowledge for better health". The department has important tasks in the training of new doctors, master degree programs, and PhD education within medicine and pharmacy.

The department is one of five institutes under the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. The main activities at the department take place in the Laboratory Building at campus. There is also activities taking place at various clinical departments at Haukeland University Hospital, Stavanger University Hospital, Diakonissehjemmets Hospital Haraldsplass, local hospitals in Haugesund and Førde.
