Bergen Research School in Inflammation (BRSI)

BRSI offers courses within immunology which may be taken as training components for PhD-Candidates.

Based on the initiative from Broegelmann Research Laboratory, Bergen Research School in Inflammation (BRSI) was founded in 2005. The school is an important cornerstone in the research education at Department of Clinical Science. The main purpose of the school is to offer relevant courses which PhD-Candidates could take as components of their mandatory training activities, and, not least, be a connection point for PhD-Candidates and scientific staff at the institute.

PhD-Candidates with research projects related to inflammation and infection are welcome to participate in the research school. Courses offered by BRSI are:

HUIMM901 - Wednesday Seminars (3 credits)

HUIMM902 - Friday Seminars (3 credits)

HUIMM903 - Human immunobiology (10 credits)

HUIMM905 - From Innate to Specific Immunity (3 credits)

HUIMM906 - Molecular and Cellular Methods in Immunology (10 credits)
