THE NORWEGIAN CONSTITUTION

Norwegian Constitution Jubilee 1814–2014

On 17 May 2014 it was 200 years since the Norwegian Constitution was signed at Eidsvoll by the Norwegian constitutional assembly. It was celebrated all over Norway in 2014, as it is the country’s most important political document and a symbol of freedom, independence and democracy.
