Digital student

Mitt UiB is the hub for UiB's digital learning environment and the center for online education at UiB. The learning platform has been expanded with new functionality for screen-/videorecording (Kaltura), and digital real-time lectures including discussion and dialogue between teacher and students (Zoom).

With Mitt UiB you can:

  • Find up-to-date information on teaching and examinations
  • Follow online education (via screen-/video recording)
  • Participate in real-time lectures and seminar groups
  • Share files and interact
  • Receive and submit assignments
  • Communicate with teacher and fellow students

Remember to prepare and check your connection and that everything works in good time for online teaching and lectures.

Digital groups and study groups

In addition to what is organized through UiB, we encourage you to form digital collaborative and social groups as well to maintain a safe contact outside the campus. Students are welcome to create their own Teams in Office 365 for video meetings, screen sharing, chat and file sharing. Microsoft Teams is not connected to Mitt UiB, but may be used as an alternative for self-study and study-groups outside the organized teaching at UiB.
