Bergen ends temporary local corona measures
UiB follows the Bergen City Councils’ assessments when Bergen ends its temporary local corona measures, with effect from 30 September. See the new measures for students and staff here.
In dealing with the coronavirus, the University of Bergen has followed the advice of national and local health authorities. When Bergen City Council ends its temporary local corona measures with effect from 30 September, UiB will follow these assessments.
From September 30, the following measures apply at UiB:
- UiB facilitates both physical and digital teaching in accordance with the original plan for the autumn semester. Students will find further information about their courses in MittUiB. Information will be updated as soon as possible.
- Home office and flexible working hours continue to be an important tool in all or part of the working hours. This is to reduce the burden on public transportation and take care of people in risk groups. Employees and leaders must make agreements on how this is organized.
- In teaching, hall exams and at public events, up to 200 people can again be present, as long as the infection control rules are complied with.
- All students and staff have access to the campus, but must still use key cards to enter the buildings.
