Have you been traveling this Easter? Take a corona test

All employees and students who have been traveling during Easter are encouraged to test themselves for Covid when they return to Bergen. Testing is free of charge, and you do not need an appointment.

UiB wishes all employees and students a happy and safe Easter. The infection situation in Norway is unstable, with several major outbreaks of mutated virus variants. Before you return to campus after the holidays, it is therefore desirable that you get tested for Corona. This is also in line with Bergen municipality's advice to residents.

Testing is free, and you do not need to book an appointment in advance. More info about were you can get tested here.

UiB recommends FHI's app

UiB also encourages all employees and students to download and use the FHI app for infection tracking.

Follow the government's recommendations

The government's recommendation to avoid unnecessary travel in Norway also applies at Easter. You may travel, if you ensure that you take extra infection control considerations. Please check the government's travel advice for Easter.
