How do I take the test?

Instructions for Standard Q Covid-19 AG self-test

The self-test is easy to use. You test yourself and read the answer within 15 minutes. The quick test is taken in the front part of the nose. Read the instructions carefully before you start.

Here's how:

1. Wash hands thoroughly
2. Locate the sterile swab, extraction buffer tube, tube cap, and test device.
3. Bend your head slightly back and insert the stick about 2 cm into the nostril. Rotate the stick 4 times. Repeat in the other nostril.
4. Insert the swab into the extraction buffer tube. While squeezing the buffer tube, stir the swab 5 times. Remove the swab while still squeezing the tube so that as much liquid as possible ends up in the tube. Put the lid on the tube.
5. Add 4 drops to the specimen well on the test device. Read the result after 15 minutes. Do not read the test after 30 minutes. It may give false results.
6. Wash hands thoroughly after the test
