On completion of the course, the student should have the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence
The student will understand contexts, basic structure and organization of IT- development
The student has the basic skills needed, to participate in IT- projects, IT-related development and in technical solutions to be delivered. The student will be able to understand and describe IT-functionality requirements.
The student understands IT-management principles, being able to communicate between IT and clinical domains and can contribute to the strategic IT work in the hospital
Required Previous Knowledge
As a minimum: Bachelor degree with specialization in Health studies, and minimum 2 years of work experience.

Seminars, group work, projects and classes
Compulsory Assignments and Attendance
Attendance is mandatory (minimum 80%).

Take home exam (two weeks)
The grading scale A-F is used
The objective of the course, is to make students able to participate in IT- related work, in the health sector.
