The course deals with current topics in energy informatics, and its content will vary from time to time

Learning Outcomes

After completing the course the student should be able to:
  • Explain the main methods in the field, and use these.
  • Do research in the field as part of an MSc or PhD degree.

Compulsory Assignments and Attendance

Compulsory activities are valid for two semesters, the semester the activity is approved and the following semester

Extra activities for PHD-students (elevated course): PhD-students must give a lecture about a topic from relevant articles with relevance to the selected topics that are being taught.

Forms of Assessment

 

Oral examination/active participation in the course, e.g., by giving presenta-tions. Compulsory exercises may count towards the final grade.

Grading Scale
The grading scale used is pass/ not passed.
Assessment Semester
Examination both spring semester and autumn semester. In semesters without teaching the examination will be arranged at the beginning of the semester.
Course Evaluation
The course will be evaluated by the students in accordance with the quality assurance system at UiB and the department.
Examination Support Material
Examination support material allowed will be announced on Mitt UiB in the beginning of each semester
Programme Committee
The Programme Committee is responsible for the content, structure and quality of the study programme and courses.
