Objectives and Content

The course deals with current topics in computer security and its content will vary from time to time. Topic for autumn 2022 semester: "Applied Cyber Security - attack and defense against real world threats"

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course INF348 "Selected Topics in Computer Security", the student is supposed to be able to

- explain the theory of the selected topics

- apply the lectured theory in a master or PhD project

- participate in research within the selected topics

- request, evaluate, and critically judge relevant research articles

Semester of Instruction

Irregular. Does not run autum semester 2023
Required Previous Knowledge
At least 120 ECTS in computer science, preferably including some mathematics
Recommended Previous Knowledge
Depends on the contents of the course.
Forms of Assessment
Oral exam.
Grading Scale
The grading scale used is A to F. Grade A is the highest passing grade in the grading scale, grade F is a fail.
