Objectives and Content
Course leader: Morten William Knudsen
The course provides an introduction to advertising and public relations. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing advertising and PR strategies. The place of advertising in modern society will also be discussed during the course. Emphasis will be placed on discussing design as an element in advertising.
The course deals with the following main areas:
1. Advertising and PR strategies
2. Target group
3. Contents of message
4. Design of message
5. Choice of media
6. Measuring effects.
Learning outcomes: The course is intended to create awareness and understanding of what it is that makes advertising work, or not work.
