Objectives and Content

The case studies will have themes ranging over all topics in statistics.

Learning Outcomes

The students shall learn written and oral presentation of statistical material through the work with, and the presentation of, a written thesis based on a case study.

Required Previous Knowledge

MAT111, MAT112, MAT121, STAT110, STAT111.

This course is only for students at the Bachelor Degree Programme in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences. The course is to be taken in the sixth semester.

Compulsory Assignments and Attendance

Mandatory course attendance.

Forms of Assessment

Project + oral presentation.

Exam only once a year - Spring.

Grading Scale

The grading scale used is A to F. Grade A is the highest passing grade in the grading scale, grade F is a fail.
