Tuesday Lunch Webinars
DIGSSCORE's weekly lunch seminars will be held as hybrid seminars this spring.
When and Where:
Tuesdays 12-12.45pm/ Tirsdager 12-12:45
The Corner Room/Hjørnerommet, Rosenberggaten 35 & Zoom
This semester, we encourage all speakers to do their presentation physically in the Corner Room if possible. The seminars will also always be streamed so anyone with the link can join digitally. However, we encourage listeners to join us physically in the Corner Room as well, as long as government and university restrictions allow for that. In order to meet the relevant requirements at the time we need those planning to attend physically to sign up beforehand.
An email will be distributed on the preceding Monday to those subscribing. In this e-mail you will find both a sign-up form for those planning to attend physically, and a Zoom link for those who do not. This link will also be provided in the calendar event.
You may subscribe or unsubscribe to the weekly email by sending a request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
At each meeting we will have a 30-minute presentation of something relevant to the users of the DIGSSCORE facility: It can be a research project; a scientific paper; a useful function in a statistical package or program; research in progress; experimental design; a way of measuring something in the lab; a course you (plan to) teach using the lab; an article that we can learn from; a guest you would like to introduce to the group. The person responsible for each session (the names on the program) are free to choose the content of their session.
They are asked to inform coordinator Erla Løvseth about their choice one week in advance (preferably at the lunch seminar).
The presentation is followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.
