Main content

The next lunch meeting at Bergen Energy Lab will deal with solar PV and the experiences BKK has with solar panels at their rooftops at Kokstad.

There will be two presentations and both presentations will be given in English.

The meeting will be held in the Helland-Hansen meeting room at the Geophysical Institute, Allegaten 70, from 12:15 to 13:15 (we open the doors at 12:00).

The first presentation is about the sun in general, the theme is technology in relation to the modules, how to position the solar panels, the effect of climate in order to generate solar power and future trends within the solar power industry.

The second presentation is about the solar system installed by BKK at Kokstad, to understand what assessments they made when selecting solar panels, choice of location on the roof and BKK’s experience so far.

They have chosen a few different technologies in order to gain an understanding of which technology generates the most power.

The seminar is free and open to all interested parties, so bring your lunch and join us for an interesting presentation followed by a Q&A session.
