Professor Martin Fernø from the Department of Physics and Technology will present the topic "Hydrogen in the climate and energy transition" at Bergen Energy Lab on Tuesday January 8.

Abstract:
Professor Martin Fernø at the Dept. of Physics and Technology will give an overview of current research activities on hydrogen as an energy carrier for energy transition. The presentation will briefly give an background on the opportunities with the use of hydrogen and point to some ongoing projects where UiB is involved. Fernø will also give details of a new project for subsurface hydrogen storage in Austria where he is involved.

The seminar will be held in the Helland-Hansen meeting room at the Geophysical Institute, Allegaten 70, from 12:15 to 13:00 (we open the doors at 12:00).
