Carolien van Ham: Democratic ambivalence and support for autocracy in European democracies

Carolien van Ham, Professor of Empirical Political Science at Radboud University Nijmegen, will give a short lecture in the CORE lectures series on Democratic ambivalence and support for autocracy in European democracies.

Carolien's research interests are legitimacy and political representation, democratization and authoritarianism, electoral integrity and fraud, and the connection between democracy and human rights.

The CORE Lecture Series is organised by the CORE research group (Citizens, Opinion, Representation, and Elections) at the Department of Comparative Politics. Leading international scholars are invited to present their ongoing research on a broad range of topical issues for the research group.

The seminars are funded by the SAMEVAL grant awarded by the Norwegian Research Council.
