Information about salary settlement at UiB in 2019

The local salary settlement at the UiB is now completed.

This year there has not been individual negotiations. The parties have agreed on the following:

Salary settlement for members of the Akademikerne:

Akademikernes pot is fully negotiated locally at the UiB, and the result will be implemented from 1. May 2019.

The parties have agreed on the following:

  • New employees - employed from May 1, 2018, will be given a percentage increase of 1.55%.
  • Other employees will be given a general percentage increase of 2,483%.
  • Postdoctoral fellows with a salary below NOK 531,900 will be raised to this level.

The settlement does not include:

  • Employees who have an expired employment relationship in 2019, with exception of those who are retiring from work.
  • Employees who have been given a new employment relationship or a new salary assessment according to HTA section 2.5.3.

Salary settlement for members of LO, Unio and YS and unorganized:

LO, Unio and YS have negotiated a part of their pot centrally, and the result of these negotiations is:

  • 1.35 percent from ltr.19 to ltr. 46
  • 1.55 percent from ltr. 47 to ltr. 63
  • 1.35 percent from ltr. 64 to ltr. 101

The remaining share of the pot is negotiated locally at UiB, and the result will be implemented from 1. July 2019.

The parties have agreed on the following

  • Everyone at ltr. 46 and below receive NOK 6,800 supplement.
  • Doctoral Research Fellows employed before 5.1.2018 are transferred from option 9 to option 10. This is equivalent to 1 ltr.
  • Higher Executive Officers with continuous employment from before 2005 and with salary below ltr. 52 receives 1 ltr. in addition to the general percentage salary increase. This also applies to Senior Executive Officers with salary below ltr. 55.
  • Postdoctoral Fellows employed before 01.07.2018 are transferred from alternative 3 to alternative 4 - one salary step. No percentage increase is given.
  • Other employees are given a percentage increase of 1.5924%.

 

The settlement does not include

  • Employees who have an expired employment relationship in 2019 at the time of the negotiation, except for those who will be retiring from work.
  • New employees employed after 1. July 2018 will be assessed according to HTA section. 2.5.5 no. 3.
  • Employees who have been given a new employment relationship or a new salary assessment according to HTA section 2.5.3.
