Sonja Ljostveit

My name is Sonja Ljostveit and I work as chief engineer at department of Clinical Science 2 in group G11 under Nina Langeland. I work primarily at the Influenza Centre and have responsibility for the practical part of the microbiology courses at K2.

I am running as candidate for the University Board because I am committed to work towards a good workplace environment with equal opportunity and access to competence raising for everyone, also for technicians. I hope that by running as a candidate for the University Board that I get the opportunity to contribute to making the university a better workplace and educational institute where everyone can thrive. A workplace where we can develop ourselves at all levels and work together to create an environment of well-being for everyone that’s associated with UoB. My commitment towards equality, inclusivity and equal opportunities for all have contributed a lot to my work as a member of KRPF (municipality board for people with disabilities).

A vote for me is a vote for commitment and passion towards making a better and more inclusive work environment and competence raising at all levels, also for technicians.
