Information about UCI Road World Championships

The UCI will be held in Bergen from September 16 – 24. This will have a major impact on traffic in and around Bergen. Parts of the city center will be closed for traffic 24/7, and the routes themselves will be closed for regular traffic between 08:30 to 19:00. Traffic will also be affected in the days before and after the event as well.

A general recommendation is to leave your car and use public transport, walk or ride a bike.

Motorists will not be able to cross cycle routes as long as the routes are closed. Pedestrians and cyclists can only cross the routes at appointed crossing points where they will be led by guards. Read more here: https://bergen2017.no/how-to-get-here/traffic-information/
