The Department of Government at University of Bergen (Norway) is organizing a PhD course on “Accounting for Time: Public Bureaucracies in a Changing Environment”, which is funded by a SAMEVAL grant awarded by the Norwegian Research Council. This 10 ECTS course takes place in Bergen 15-21 June 2023 with guest lectures by Chris Ansell (University of California, Berkeley), Klaus Goetz (University of Munich), Muiris MacCarthaigh (Queens University Belfast), Jan Wynen (University of Antwerp) and Benny Geys (BI Norwegian Business School).

Applications should be submitted latest 30 April 2023 by using this application form. Note that maximum 15 students will be admitted, and that some support for travel and accommodation can be provided for at most five students if necessary.
