On Monday 20th of March, Marit Skivenes, Professor at the Department of Government and head of the Centre for Research on Discretion and Paternalism (DIPA) will hand over NOU 2023: 7 to the Minister of Children and Families Kjersti Toppe (SP). The committee was appointed by the government in March 2021 to investigate measures to strengthen the legal protection in all parts of the child welfare sercives. The committee has 14 members. The committee's report contains suggestions for what can be improved in the child welfare services for children who need help and their families.
