Artificial intelligence is constantly increasing in importance, and AI language models have applications in many sectors. At the Department of Information Science and Media Studies, our expertise encompasses both the technical aspects of AI and its societal implications. This puts us in a unique position.
To provide an overview of the department's work and commitment within the AI area, as well as our contributions to the UiB AI initiative, we have launched the website AI at Infomedia. The pages, available in both Norwegian and English, present the department's research initiatives, our educational offerings in the AI field, and our presence in the media.
