The poster with golden colours used by Bryggen museum for this exhibition.

The Thracians mainly lived in the area that is now Bulgaria. They were regarded by other people as warlike, ferocious, and bloodthirsty, and the ancient Greeks considered them barbarians. Yet, their culture developed advanced forms of music, poetry, industry, and artistic crafts. The archaeological research of the Thracian culture started in the 20th century and especially after World War II.

We would like to invite International Researchers at UiB, employees and guests, for a visit to Bryggen museum too see the exhibition "Legends of Gold".

To get the most out of this visit, we have booked an English-speaking guide from the museum to tell us about the Thracians and the different golden objects on display. So don´t miss it, we do not often get such rare exhibitions in Bergen.

The visit is booked for 17:00, so please at the entrance of Bryggen museum a few minutes before.

The registration will close when all places are reserved, or within November 25: https://skjemaker.app.uib.no/view.php?id=4021659
