We are delighted to announce the 6th Annual Research Conference of the International Collaborative for Best Care for the Dying Person "A Good Ending - Good for All".

This will incorporate the final conference of the ERANet-LAC CODE project: "International Care Of the Dying Evaluation (CODE): quality of care for cancer patients as perceived by bereaved relatives". The conference will include seminars, workshops, oral and poster presentations based on submitted abstracts, and covering a wide range of topics linked to care of the dying and societal engagement with death and dying.

The conference will take place in Bergen, Norway, 6-7 November 2019. It is hosted by the University of Bergen in collaboration with the Regional Centre of Excellence for Palliative Care, Western Norway and the International Collaborative for Best Care for the Dying Person, and supported by the Research Council of Norway.

Call for abstracts (NOW CLOSED)

We will be having a poster exhibition and have slots available for speakers in the open sessions, and if you are interested in presenting, please do the following:

  • Submit an abstract, maximum 250 words
  • Submit a short bio

This should be in in Word format and sent to eli.vidhammer@uib.no within July 4th. A committee will consider the abstracts and invite you to do an oral presentation or present a poster, based on selection from the submitted abstracts.
