Project description

Plastic in the marine environment has become a growing problem. Today, plastic is one of the major environmental challenges we have, and we lack standardized methods for examining the amount and type of plastic. This project will test different methods to find plastic in water and sediment samples. We will focus on systematic method development and mainly SEM and Raman will be used.
