Temporary Study Right at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
Courses at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is only available for students at the Faculty, but students from other Faculties at the University of Bergen who wishes to take courses here, can apply for a Temporary Study Right.
Students with an active study right at other Faculties at the University of Bergen can apply for a temporary study right for one semester. In order for the right of study to be granted, the applicant must fulfill the requirements for the course (if there are any).
- Fall semester: 25 August (15 August for courses with limited capacity)
- Spring semester: 25 January (10 January for courses with limited capacity)
Some courses at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences has limited capacity, you will find more information about how to apply and what courses it is on this page.
You apply by using the digital application form to the right. We process the applications continuously and you will receive an email when your application is processed. The study right is only given for one semester at time, if you want to continue to take courses at our Faculty a later semester, you have to apply again.
If you are granted a study right for one semester, you have to sign up for the course(s) you want to take on Studentweb (register for class and exam).
