As you know, the 'REPower EU Plan' to diversify the European Union's energy supplies has placed a renewed urgency on scaling-up energy exports from Norway and Canada to Europe.
In this hybrid webinar, panelists will discuss recent developments, opportunities and key challenges in establishing trans-Atlantic energy corridors to promote clean energy trade of liquefied natural gas, hydrogen and ammonia from two natural gas supplier countries.
The energy sector in both Norway and Canada is also looking to carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies and to the establishment of so-called 'CCS hubs' to produce clean energy for export. What are the legal implications of these developments, how can regulatory challenges be aligned, and what role can harmonised clean energy certification schemes play in facilitating market uptake?
