Working together to develop Porphyria treatment
Professor Aurora Martinez at Institute for Biomedicine and MD Aasne K. Aarsand lead an interdisciplinary team developing new treatments of acute intermittent porphyria (AIP).

The team spans three university departments and two hospital units, and report that the cooperation has given only positive surprises. The project is supported by BIOTEK2021 funding, is being commercialised through VIS, and has so far led to new patents, promising results and grateful patients.
