DRIV Breakfast Seminar: Autoimmunity in Women’s Health - Current Perspectives and Research Status

Autoimmune diseases disproportionately affect women. What do we know about the underlying mechanisms, and where is research heading? At this breakfast seminar, you will meet leading researchers at UiB presenting new and ongoing research from different academic perspectives.

  • Location: Boardroom, Faculty of Medicine, 4th Floor, Armauer Hansen House, University of Bergen (with option for digital participation)
  • Date: Tuesday, May 26
  • Time: 08:30 - 09:20

Program (short research talks, approx. 10 minutes each):

  • Prof. Eystein Husebye – Endocrine autoimmunity
  • Prof. Silke Appel – Sjögren’s syndrome
  • Prof. Øivind Torkildsen – Multiple sclerosis
  • Associate Professor Anne Kristine Hjorteseth Halse – Rheumatoid arthritis (In Norwegian)
  • Concluding with questions and academic discussion.

Breakfast with coffee/tea and light refreshments will be served. The event is open to everyone!
