A plan for the training component should be outlined together with supervisor when applying for admission to the PhD programme. Below you will find information about different courses offered at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
Courses at master degree-level
In the optional part courses at the master degree-level can be approved as support courses at the doctoral level, provided that the courses are not included in the master's degree. Guidelines for caluculating course credits
The training component is regulated by "Guidelines for calculation of course credits in the PhD programme". You will find the guidelines under "Regulations and guidelines" here
Admission to research courses for external PhD candidates (PhD candidates who are admitted to other academic institutions) can be granted by application. Application form can be found under Forms - Doctoral education. Please note the deadline 4 weeks prior to course start. Non-PhD candidates who wish to apply for course admission, must apply by 1 June / 1 December, please consult this page for more information.
