UiB encourage all new international students to participate in the Introductory Programme that takes place Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 January.

During these two days you, as a new international student, will meet the staff from the Student Services and all six faculties, as well as other representatives that will help to give international students a gentle start to the new student semester.  You will be introduced to Norwegian culture and society and receive important information about practicalities and studies.

The aim of the Introductory Programme is to give all new international students a useful and fun introduction to various aspects of student life in Bergen and Norway.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Bergen at the student house Det Akademiske Kvarter, also known as Kvarteret, on Monday 6 January.

In the meantime, you can watch this video showing international students arriving in Bergen last winter and this video showcasing some of the student activities at UiB.
