PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project aims at describing three-dimensional geometries and internal variations in primarily the shoreface sandstones of the Endalen Member. These sandstones form extensive sheets, but the internal geometry and possible variation is poorly known. There is also new evidence of a coal seam on top of this member that suggests sea level variations during during/ towards the top of the unit, and no work has so far dealt with the traces of this transition in the upper Endalen Member.
