joint seminar between BIO and Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research.

Paul Kardol and Klaus Steenberg Larsen

Main content

Paul Kardol:

“the importance of mosses and dwarf shrubs for ecosystem functioning”.

Paul Kardol, based at SLU in Sweden, has a background in plant and soil community ecology

Klaus Steenberg Larsen:

“Novel automated chamber measurements of greenhouse gas fluxes in a Danish heathland ecosystem”.

Klaus Larsen’s research (University of Copenhagen) is in Carbon and Nitrogen cycling in terrestrial ecosystems in a climate perspective.

Their backgrounds make for an exciting seminar that will be relevant for many in the research group! In order to book a room, it’d be great to get an indication of how many would attend.
