Interpraevent 2021
This is the 14. Interpraevent conference to be arranged, and for the first time by Norway! The conference aims to be a meeting point for practitioners, scientists and decision makers working with natural hazard risk reduction.
Main content
The conference is a great opportunity to meet and discuss with colleagues from all over the world. This year the conference will be completely digital, with the following main topics, all in English:
- Risk governance and policy
- Data acquisition and modelling
- Hazard and risk assessment
- Hazard and risk management
In addition to oral presentations we offer poster presentations, discussions, a student paper award, and «virtual excursions» by storymap to Norways rugged west coast, where many small settlements have had to find solutions to living with avalanches and other natural hazards.
