What is Future Week?

Future Week is a tech festival consisting of a number of research seminars, workshops, breakfast meetings, popup talks, entertainment, demos, presentations, debates, talks, and discussions. The events are focused on topics that challenge our common future as it is driven and shaped by technology. In 2019, an estimated 3000+ people attended the more than 50 events and workshops taking place during the Media City Bergen Future Week.

Strong joint effort

The topics of the events are mostly within the Media Cluster’s disciplines and are arranged by Media City Bergen in collaboration with our cluster members, as well as our partners from different industries and other future-oriented environments.

Who should join?

Everyone! Future Week is the place to be for journalists, coders, designers, developers, executives, students, and scientists. If you are just future and tech curious, you are encouraged to join. The visitors are warmly welcomed to the Media Cluster’s headquarters, Media City Bergen, and Pressens Hus in Oslo this week. At the many different venues across Norway and within MCB you will find a great variety of activities. Most of the events are completely free to attend. Find the full program here
